Katrina Wyckoff Owner, Director, Visionary

Katrina Wyckoff has a personal mission: to impact the world for good. Katrina has dedicated her life to serving her community and inspiring the next generation. She believes excellence is a worthy pursuit and hopes to inspire all those around her to truly be all the they can be. She hopes that by living her dreams, she will empower all who know her to live their dreams also.

Katrina began dancing at age 3 and has never stopped. She trained competitively as a child and then danced at Brigham Young University. Katrina was recruited to dance and coach for a professional dance/cheer team in the German Football League in Saarbrucken, Germany called the Saarbrucken Hurricanes. There she performed for thousands of people on a regular basis and led her team to be sought after for many professional and corporate events around Germany.

Upon her return to the United States, Katrina began teaching dance and coaching cheerleading. Katrina taught cheer at Cross Middle School, CDO High School, and Ironwood High School while teaching at Centre Stage Dance Studio. In 2006, Katrina took over Centre Stage Dance Studio and moved into the role as Director and Visionary .

Katrina has opened multiple locations in multiple states, including three locations in Tucson. Under her direction, Centre Stage has quadrupled in size and gone on to become a premier and respected pre-professional and competitive dance training facility. Centre Stage has welcomed literally thousands of dancers through its doors. These dancers have gone on to win many awards at competitions (including many national and even world titles), they have danced on the world stage opening for greats such as Tim McGraw or at the opening event of Cars Land at California Adventure, and the studio has won best dance studio in Oro Valley. 

Katrina’s sound leadership mind and dedication to the industry has led her to become a sought after mentor and keynote speaker for studio owner groups, including the Studio Owners’ Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

Katrina is currently part of an elite collective of Women CEO’s from around the world who are masterminding to redefine studio business in order to bring the greatest opportunities and most enchanting experiences to students in the performing arts.

Katrina’s greatest joy and happiness still stems from seeing each dancer grow and blossom as they discover their own star potential from within.

  • Certified in Zumba, aqua Zumba, and kids Zumba 2014. Certified Aerial Instructor.

  • Lead Dance Director for the LDS Tucson Temple Cultural Celebration choreographing and directing a televised performance for 2500 teenagers 2017.

Katrina has seven children, four grandchildren, and loves to travel with her husband, Michael Wyckoff. 

Jme MacArthurBallet Manager and Instructor

Jme MacArthur is a true gem. She has a special way of connecting with children and teens and is a friend to all parents. Her laughter lights up the room. She brings joy and excitement to the world of dance. As the ballet director, Jme is oversees the delivery of our ballet program, ensuring that all standards are met in all ballet levels and that all students are receiving the foundation they need to be beautiful, graceful dancers. Jme also directs the ballet productions and mini-productions at each recital. Her creativity and artistry explodes from the stage in unforgettable and professional performances.

Jme has trained in dance her whole life, much of the time on scholarship. She began teaching at a young age. She was a source of inspiration to her follow students and led the way for many other dancers to succeed.

Jme is trained and certified by the American Ballet Theater. This prestigious certification enables her to oversee and teach the same curriculum that is used by the American Ballet Theater, providing Centre Stage students with world-class dance education right here in Tucson! Jme continues to be involved with the American Ballet Theater and continues her own education with them in order to continually provide state-of-the art theory and pedagogy to the community.

Jme is supported by and married to her best friend, “Mr. Jme.” Mark MacArthur is a great dance dad/hubby and is loved by the students and appreciated for his great contribution. Jme has three amazing children and a really cute dog.

Eva Ramirez- Instructor

Eva Ramirez was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona and began dancing when she was two years old. By the age of seven, she began competing with All That Dance’s company and attending a variety of conventions in which she received multiple awards and scholarships. For the next 11 years she trained and competed in many genres including tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, Broadway, hip-hop, acrobatics, ballet, and pointe. At the age of 13, she began training pre-professionally at prestigious studios across the country including Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Center, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Eva began her teaching career the following year by assisting and contributing choreography to her competitive teams as well as her high school’s dance program. She soon became an instructor herself and has absolutely loved teaching ever since. Currently, Eva is studying Physiology and Evolutionary Biology as well as dancing at the University of Arizona. She is a recent addition to the Centre Stage Staff and she is truly overjoyed to continue sharing her love of dance with her students.

Aubrey Zimmerman Instructor

Aubrey Zimmerman has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She has trained at studios in both Tucson and Tempe and studied under numerous amazing teachers from all over the United States. She attended two summer intensives at Houston Ballet and one at Austin Ballet. She has also participated in summer workshops at MODAS in New Mexico, and Steps on Broadway, Peridance Capezio Center, and Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Most recently, Aubrey was invited, on scholarship, to attend Perry Mansfield and work with artistic director Banning Bouldin and the company members of New Dialect.

Aubrey Loves to perform. She has taken every opportunity she has been given to perform via competitions, recitals, and now professional shows and programs. In the summer of 2016, she went on a performing tour of Europe, performing in Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland. She has won multiple regional titles in competitions and was a Junior national champion at the age of 10.

During high school she was an honor student at a college preparatory school while commuting from Tucson to Tempe 4-5 days a week to continue her training in dance. Aubrey has a tremendous dedication to dance education and loves to support every dancer around her.

Aubrey is a well rounded dancer trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, and Hip hop.

 She is currently dancing on scholarship of the University of Arizona School of Dance. She loves teaching as much as she loves to dance!

Michelle Jones- Instructor, Office Manager

Michelle is one of the Centre Stage MVP’s. Michelle has been an integral part of growing our Centre Stage Family into the large and diversified group that it is. When she’s not busy running every aspect of this well-oiled dance studio machine, Michelle is a professional competitive athlete, certified aerial silks instructor, and fitness instructor. Michelle is always friendly, motivated, and willing to help anyone out at a moment’s notice. Her problem solving attitude and sparkling personality are contagious. She is an invaluable community leader, confidante, and friend.

Karli Heim Instructor

Karli started dancing when she was three years old. She is experienced in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop, and jazz funk! She continued her dance career at The School of Ballet Arizona in Phoenix. She was in the Pre-Profession Performance Company where she trained under the prestigious Carlos Valcárcel. With his training, she was able to train with The Joffrey Ballet School in NYC as well as The Colorado Ballet! When she was sixteen years old she was asked to join a strictly Adult Professional Performance Company at Millennium Dance Complex Denver. With this opportunity, she has been able to train under many well known choreographers such as JoJo Gomez, Jersey, Antoine Troupe and many many more! She has also performed multiple pieces at Carnival, The Millennium Experience in LA, and even for Demi Lovato under these choreographers. She also works for a traveling convention called Infinity Dance Project, (who is currently re-launching as ETA – Empowering Talents for the Arts). She has taught many competition pieces and for several sutdios prior to coming to Centre Stage.

Karli says, “I strive to teach the same passion that was instilled in me over 16 years ago. I love being a part of the Centre Stage Family!”

Miranda HutchisonInstructor

Miranda has a long history of dance study, performance, and teaching. She is a well rounded dancer excellent in every discipline and with real world experience in dance. She has been employed to dance with Princess Cruise lines, Busch Gardens, Walt Disney World, Dick Clark Productions and more. She is great resource for our students who wish to continue dancing after high school and can help them to see, find, and get all the possibilities that await.

Miranda brings the professionalism of performance to the studio through her dedication to help the students succeed.

Miranda is trained in ballet, Cecchetti, burlesque, gymanstics, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, pointe, tap, aerial. Competition dancer affiliated with the American Dance Awards, Dance Masters of America, and Pennsylvania Dance Masters.

Miranda has a bachelor’s degree in business and loves playing sports in her free time.

Hannah Goodwin- Instructor

Hannah Goodwin is a real life example of our mission in action. Hannah has been dancing since she was a child. She was recognized early in her training at Centre Stage as someone with a contagiously positive attitude and great leadership skills. She shows incredible mastery of dance technique and performance ability.

Hannah began substitute teaching in 2018. In 2020 she was welcomed onto the Centre Stage Dream Team. Hannah has a special way of connecting with the Shimmer Students to bring a smile to their faces, help them listen and pay attention, and encourage them to learn all that they can. She brings youthful energy and excitement to her classes. Students love to run up and hug Miss Hannah whenever they see her!

Hannah has won many awards at dance competitions. She has danced on the CDO dance team. She has a bright future in dance ahead of her and we are so pleased to have her on our team.
